This morning John Crombez, State Secretary for the fight against tax and social fraud, has presented the application Dolsis. Dolsis, a joint initiative of the NSSO (National Security Office) and the CBSS (Crossroads Bank for Social Security) is a new electronic application which gives public institutions of all levels a secure and direct access to the data of the NSSO. According to John Crombez, this application constitutes a concrete example of the crossing of data bases.
The NSSO collects and manages employer and employee social contributions used to finance the various branches of social security. It collects and distributes the basic administrative data for other social security institutions.
